25 Jun 2012Of course this last one is an emotional one. I will miss my topic list, since I didn’t get to write about all the topics I had in mind and all of the people I met here. I will also miss all the feedback you all gave me.
Enough of that emotional stuff, for most of you not leaving Holland until the end of August there are still some fun things to do.
The summertime is the most fun time in Rotterdam!
The bigger events happening are the North Sea Jazz festival (http://www.northseajazz.com/en), the ‘Zomercarnaval’, which is throughout the city on July 28 and the City Racing on august 26th, which is also throughout the city. For the elaborate list of events click here.
What I have to say about my time in Holland until now, is that is has been one adventure. Not because I was careful or carefree, but because I cared. And as soon as you care about something it can NOT go wrong. I am enjoying my student years, which will probably end very soon, but until then Erasmus has been the best place and my kids will probably go there, unless the world ends or technology advances fast enough allowing them to not need extra education.
Since my picture last week was very unclear I would like to show you guys some more pictures of our performance:
And I would like to end with this: “It is hard to believe but the experiences that happened to you happened to me
”
