5 Jun 2012Today, experts, academics and policy makers are gathering on campus to discuss issues relating to equitable health insurance mechanisms. The session, an initiative of HRH Princess Maxima and organised by a team of ISS and Global Health (ESE, iBMG) takes a full day. Princess Maxima honours the seminar with a keynote and her presence throughout the day. In addition, delegates from all around the world have found their way to Woudestein campus. Representatives from the World Bank, IFC, the Gates foundation, governments, diplomats and leading academics in the field warrant discussions that matter. Very happy to be hosting the session and to hear once more how Maxima is knowledgeable about and dedicated to the cause of her late father in law, Prince Claus. This afternoon, prof Stella Quimbo addresses the audience. It fulfills me wide pride that this conference is the first of its kind.

Pauline van der Meer Mohr is president of the Executive Board and is responsible for general administrative matters, such as the relationship with the Board of Trustees and the University Council.
