Head Legal Affairs Edmond Jaspar said goodbye today, after 36 years of service. I was delighted to be able to honour him, on behalf of the University, with the Erasmus -met-de-reispet award. Edmond will be remembered by his many colleagues as a thoughtful, reflective and supportive legal eye, and as a passionate poet in his spare time. His farewell gift to the university, two anthologies of poetry, will not come as a surprise to those who know him. All good wishes for a happy and healthy future, Edmond.
