Handmaker appointed Editor-in-Chief in 2017

Jeff Handmaker, GGSJ Senior Researcher and (since 2013) Editor of the South African Journal on Human Rights (SAJHR) will take over as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal in 2017.

sajhrcoverFounded in 1985 by the Centre for Applied Legal Studies (CALS) and housed at the School of Law, University of Witwatersand, Johannesburg, the SAJHR is the leading and one of the oldest South African public law journals.

The SAJHR is published by Taylor & Francis (as of January 2016) and was ranked ‘1’ (first) in South Africa with a combined score of 100 and had an impact factor of 0.392 (with a 5-year impact factor of 0.36) in the Journal Citation Reports 2015.

Past issues of the Journal can currently be viewed on SABINET and on HeinOnline.
